Connected. Beautiful. Powerful.

We’ve just finalised our latest fantastic project and we’re very proud to announce the new nsquared digitable55. It’s connected. It’s beautiful. It’s powerful. And, it's clever.

When we sat down to design our latest digitable we wanted a great looking piece of furniture with digital capacities that were second to none in the space of tabletop computing. We believe we’ve achieved both of those goals and judging by the reception it’s getting, there are a plenty of people who agree with us.

One of the first deployments was last month at The Porter in Sydney. The Porter is a highly activated executive co-working environment that’s full of beautiful, high quality furniture and the most exciting technology for business. The nsquared digitable55 fits right into The Porter’s gracious spaces where it’s being used for sales pitches, business meetings, collaborative planning, and creating better solutions.

The flush tabletop boasts a massively multi-touch 55-inch embedded projected capacitive LED touch screen panel that’s able to respond to at least 200 simultaneous touches in real time.

Powered by the latest Intel i7 chip, a high end dedicated graphics card, and Windows 8.1 kernel, the nsquared digitable55 has been designed so that it can be easily upgraded as and when technology improves. It was really important to us that we create a piece to stand the test of time in terms of aesthetics and functionality. We didn’t want to add to the growing worldwide refuse problem that is being fed by an increasing throwaway culture. The nsquared digitable is anything but throw away.

Its classic, timeless design provides a workspace that’s big enough to comfortably stand or sit at. People around the table can view and annotate digital architectural plans; search online with multiple browsers; brainstorm and capture new ideas; or work with multiple virtual documents. Different files can be open on the table at the same time and viewable from any position. It responds to touch and stylus input, and connects wirelessly and almost seamlessly to your personal devices as well as cloud storage services such as Dropbox and OneDrive. *

Free PDF Download - An Introduction to Digital Tables

Over the last couple of weeks we continue to be asked the key questions,  “what’s a digital table?” and “why do we need one”?

The demand and interest in digital tables is evident and increasing. From local libraries, to real estate agencies, to modern business boardrooms, it’s great to see how individuals and organizations are thinking forward and realizing the true value of creating a digitized, collaborative meeting space.

We have been working with digital tables since 2007 and are passionate about using technology that supports true “social” face to face communication. Digital tables, or digitables, provide a unified multi-user experience that enriches conversation and engagement.

To assist those considering enhancing their spaces, we have taken the time to put together a simple PDF document.

This FREE PDF document contains everything you should consider when implementing a digital table including,

- Number of touch points required – Find out what will give you a premium experience
- Screen Size and orientation – What’s best fit for your environment?
- Lighting – Is the hardware suitable?
- Multi-User Software - How do you enable multiple people to interact? What outcomes do you want to achieve?

And more!
